ICCI’s 49th Commencement – February 24th, 2022

The International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) proudly marked a significant milestone on 30 May 2026 with the successful completion of its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Certificate Short Course. This inaugural programme reflects ICCI’s commitment to providing innovative, relevant, and career-focused learning opportunities that prepare individuals for success in an increasingly technology-driven world.

In keeping with its mission to advance the potential for leadership and foster a commitment to community service, ICCI remains dedicated to equipping students with practical skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-directed learning. Building on the success of this first AI course, the College will continue to offer similar programmes designed to help professionals, entrepreneurs, and lifelong learners develop the knowledge and competencies needed to thrive in the 21st-century workforce.

 Applications are now being accepted for future AI courses. Prospective participants are encouraged to register their interest by completing an application and securing their place in upcoming cohorts. Join ICCI in exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and developing the skills needed for the future of work. 

THE CLASS OF 2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • The Class of 2021 consists of 26 graduands in the following degree programs: 11 Associates, 8 Bachelors, 6 MBA, and 1 Master of Science.
  • The Class of 2021’s overall average GPA is 3.36.
  • 22 of the 26 graduands are employed as of today; all four of the remaining students are full-time students.
  • 17 of the 26 graduands are Caymanians of which six are either Civil Servants or employed with the Cayman Islands Statutory Bodies.
  • 100% of eligible members of the Class of 2021 earned and maintained Cayman Islands Government Academic Scholarships.
  • 54% of the Class of 2021 participated and were awarded certificates in the P.R.I.D.E “Know Your Cayman Islands” Workshop.
  • 77% of the Class of 2021 participated in ICCI sponsored service projects or donated money to ICCI charity related projects.
  • 82% of the eligible graduands indicated that they will most likely receive a raise or promotion after completing their degree at ICCI.
