Alicia Law, DBAAssociate Professor of BusinessChief Advisor to the President for Online EducationDr. Alicia Law holds a doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University in Chicago, an MBA from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, a B.S. in Environmental Sciences and a B.A. in Business Administration from Marycrest University in Davenport, Iowa.Since joining ICCI in September 2015, Dr. Law has been very active in college affairs, helping to redesign the online learning platform and infusing a culture of research at the college. She also heads the College’s effort and partnerships with the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants. The goal of the program is to produce more qualified Caymanian accountants for the industry.She has experience teaching undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level Business Administration courses for the last three years. She has also been a manager and a consultant for over twenty years in many diverse organizations including government, engineering, education, natural resources and land management in both the public and private sectors. Her teaching expertise spans online and face-to-face (ground campuses) with a diverse group of both traditional and non-traditional students.Dr. Law brings experience of working the non-traditional student’s way of life including working, going to school, and juggling family, as she was once a non-traditional student herself herself. The International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) proudly marked a significant milestone on 30 May 2026 with the successful completion of its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Certificate Short Course. This inaugural programme reflects ICCI’s commitment to providing innovative, relevant, and career-focused learning opportunities that prepare individuals for success in an increasingly technology-driven world.
In keeping with its mission to advance the potential for leadership and foster a commitment to community service, ICCI remains dedicated to equipping students with practical skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-directed learning. Building on the success of this first AI course, the College will continue to offer similar programmes designed to help professionals, entrepreneurs, and lifelong learners develop the knowledge and competencies needed to thrive in the 21st-century workforce.
